Today, Feb 21,2012  Piandre opened its doors to the Loyola Grand Villas residents . The salon at LGV is a cozy and sun-filled place with the glow of the “LED” lights and the sunshine from its sliding window panes. Piandre joins a string of shops in the newly opened complex “ The Gardens” with a coffee and pastry shop, Sweet Maria, laundry and Western Union and soon to open Rustan’s supermarket.  LGV is the subdivision along Katipunan Ave. in QC near the Ateneo and Miriam Schools. The very dynamic Board of LGV led by its President Mila Arnaldo thought of bringing the everyday conveniences right at its residents doorsteps.  Now from our point of view, Piandre is proud to be part of this vigorous and vibrant  community .

Some highlights of the Piandre LGV branch – it was designed and executed by architects on the go or the gone – Linda and Andrea Inc. It has been a secret that our mother and daughter combo can execute a floor plan with Mommy’s design thoughts and Andrea’s prowess at computer generated plans.At LGV Piandre,  Aina my artist daughter  painted the posts with minimalist images of a blower and a pair of scissors.  They are intricately simple that when one looks at these images, you will just feel safe and secure that you are in the right place – you are in a safe salon space. This is what we intend every Piandre salon space should be – and nothing pleases us more than to know that our friends find every Piandre space a delightful and safe place to be! Piandre LGV opens Monday to Saturday from 8am to 8pm an  Sundays from 9 to 5pm.  It has our young and vibrant staff trained by our Creative director Andrea, my 3rd daughter who graduated from the VIdal Sassoon School in London in 2004.  With Piandre’s thrust of continuous training and total staff development, the staff at LGV has undergone trainings abroad and here in Manila by foreign trainers.

Recently, a Vidal Sasoon expert trainer flew in to give Vidal techniques of cutting to our ever-enthusiastic stylists who were coached and batonned by Andrea herself.  I quite enjoyed the British accent of Matthew Foster, who was Andrea’s head teacher in Vidal Sasoon in London many years ago.
