Our story · Since 1987
Rosalinda Z. Francisco, Founder & CEO
Established in 1987 by entrepreneur Rosalinda Zamora Francisco, Piandré Salon traces its roots back to 1980, when Linda, along with her sister Monina Francisco Bermejo, was gifted by their mother, Pacita Zamora Francisco, Eve's Salon, a small salon in Magallanes Village, Makati.
In 1987, Piandré Salon on Amorsolo Street, Makati was born. The name Piandré is a combination of the first initials of Linda's three daughters: Peachy (Pi), Aina (An), and Andrea (Dre). In 1990, Linda, along with dear friend and consultant Socorro Arrozal, set up the Salon Multi-Purpose Cooperative (SMPC), a thriving business and the only salon cooperative in the country to this day. SMPC is the sole franchisee of two Piandré Salons: one in Ayala UP Town and the other in Ayala Cloverleaf.
In 2012, the company branched out into professional salon products distribution, its flagship imported brands being Lakmé, a full professional salon line from Barcelona, and Raphael Perrier, the premier hairdressing training company from France.
At Piandré, our mission is to cultivate beauty and confidence, fostering a positive impact on individuals and communities through exceptional salon services. We are dedicated to enhancing and maintaining the God-given beauty of our clients while staying at the forefront of emerging beauty trends. We believe that investing in the total development of our employees creates a ripple effect, resulting in outstanding service to our clients and contributing to the common good in society. Our commitment to quality services and products reflects our pursuit of excellence, promoting care and community for both clients and employees.
At Piandré, our vision is to become the nation's most trustworthy salon, known for our unwavering reliability, professionalism, and honesty in delivering outstanding services and offering the highest quality products. We strive to create an inclusive and empowering environment where our employees can flourish, clients can indulge in pampering experiences, and communities can benefit from our shared success.
A cherished daily tradition at Piandré, the 3 o'clock prayer serves as a moment of reflection and spiritual connection for all Piandré branches. This brief pause in the day allows the team to come together, express gratitude, and seek guidance, fostering a harmonious and spiritually centered work environment.
Mass weddings symbolize the celebration of love and unity within the Piandré community. Every few years, the company sponsors weddings for our employees who wish to receive the sacrament of matrimony, and would otherwise have been unable to do so because of financial constraints.
At Piandré, our commitment to enduring partnerships is embodied in the annual ceremony, combining the Mass of the Holy Spirit and the Blessing of the Hands. In this heartfelt gathering, we express gratitude and foster community. This marks the beginning of the year, allowing employees to express gratitude and receive blessings. Following the Mass of the Holy Spirit, where we collectively give thanks, we take pride in presenting the Loyalty Awards, honoring team members for remarkable years of unwavering service and showcasing our commitment to a nurturing work environment.
Established in 1990, the Salon Multipurpose Cooperative at Piandré has been a dynamic force in uplifting our employees' lives. Staff ownership of our U.P. Town and Cloverleaf branches not only signifies a commitment to shared success but also empowers our employees as fellow co-salon owners. Beyond ownership, the cooperative bridges the gap for various financial needs, supporting property ownership, small businesses, medical care, emergency needs, and education.
