We finally opened our 14th branch last Monday in Abreeza Mall, Davao City. It all started about a year ago when we were offered a space - ground floor with outdoor access, right across SEDA hotel and several Ayala Condominiums. We couldn't pass up the opportunity.

In case you missed it, Piandré Outdoors salon on the 5th floor of our Timog building is alive and well. We have been open for a little over a month and have been able to fix some of the kinks. If you haven’t been out or if you haven’t seen your friend in a long time, it’s a good place to meet up! We’ve already gotten some bookings for the place, as an alternative to the usual Christmas get togethers. Our hours are still from 6am to 9pm with no breaks in between.

Greg, aside from being a senior stylist at Piandre Greenbelt is the current chairman of the Salon Multi-Purpose Cooperative. Greg however, has been on the board for many years. He has seen the ups and downs of the coop and has been a warrior during our coop's darkest hours. On Sunday at 11am, he leads the SMPC board in opening it's second branch in U.P. Town Center.

A Mother’s Day celebration: Piandre’s salon multi purpose cooperative treated 50 mothers from the Project Pearls community in Tondo to haircuts. The mothers are the poorest of the community, scavengers of recyclables including food in garbage. Project Pearls is an non profit that supports the underserved community in Tondo by providing scholarships and feeding programs. They are open to volunteers and sponsors.
